According to the Civil Aviation Resource Network on July 17, 2025, the Civil Aviation Administration of China recently issued a Technical Standard Regulations Project Approval (CTSOA) to the SINOPEC AEH I domestic aviation flame-retardant phosphate ester hydraulic oil developed by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sinopec"). This is the first domestic aviation hydraulic oil product in my country to obtain airworthiness approval. The issuance of this approval has laid the foundation for its realization of civil aviation market application. It also marks that my country has become the third country in the world with the ability to produce aviation flame-retardant phosphate ester hydraulic oil, and has made a major breakthrough in the field of aviation hydraulic oil.

Aviation hydraulic oil is the medium responsible for energy transfer in the aircraft hydraulic system. It also undertakes key functions such as system lubrication and heat conduction. Its performance directly affects the safety of aircraft operation. The Civil Aviation Administration of China accepted the application and entrusted the Aviation Fuel and Aviation Chemicals Certification Center to carry out technical review work. The Aviation Fuel and Aviation Chemicals Certification Center has selected key personnel to form an inspection team. According to the airworthiness regulations and standards, the product has been strictly inspected from various aspects such as technical data, formula process, production and manufacturing conformity inspection, inspection capability, quality system and product performance. Multiple batches of samples have been taken to carry out physical and chemical performance, application performance tests and bench Tester .
